Kodi

So…. A bit about me. (OMG typing is so hard! It feels like I’m all paws)
    I’m Kodi (short for Kodiak)
If a word describes me, it’d be grateful.
        * I won’t harass you for my dinner, but I’ll be so grateful every time I        get it.
        * I won’t aggravate you to walk me, but I’m so grateful when you               do.
        * I’m also so grateful for kindness and love. I’ll stand by you for as             long as the pats and cuddles are flowing.

You’ll have to be a bit patient with me as everything, and I mean everything, is new to me. What’s normal and mundane to others is so exciting and wonderfully interesting to me. I sometimes just stand and stare at everything in the new world I’m getting to see.
I’ve met a few other dogs with my foster family – and wow! I’ve never met dogs like that ever!
I’m just soo fascinated, I quiver with excitement when I meet another kind of dog (I never knew there were so many!)
I’m easy going, the vacuum doesn’t phase me, nor do sirens or distant fireworks.
OMG – car rides are so fun; it’s nuts how much there is to see. I haven’t traveled much – only to and from race days. But I’d be keen to ride shotgun with you on any outing you pick.
If you’re reading this, then you must have liked the pics my friends took. I used to be a professional athlete, and proud to say I’ve kept my hot bod. But now am happy to watch tv, read and hang out with my new fam. I used to live in the athlete’s village, so I’m still adapting to this new world. I won’t know all the rules for your place, but I will learn quick.
I love humans. I’m even fostering a few until I met my forever peeps.
When I was younger, I thought life was about fame and glory, but now I’m 4 I realize there’s more to life. Thus, the search for my soul mate/partner in crime/forever fam. Life’s taught me that love, loyalty, and companionship are true life goals.
